The city of Mwanza grapples with a rising number of street children and orphaned children due to multifaceted challenges, including the impact of diseases, poverty, and social upheaval.

These circumstances leave countless young lives without the foundational pillars of family, support, and a nurturing environment necessary for growth and development.

Hi everyone! I'm Lidya, a 28-year-old born in the vibrant city of Arusha, Tanzania. As the youngest among four siblings, my journey has been shaped by adversity, having lost my father at a young age, and navigating life with a mother who has battled illness, making it challenging for her to care for me.

Despite a difficult childhood, I developed a profound passion for supporting vulnerable children. Over the past ten years, I've been honored to serve as the school coordinator at Bright English Medium School in the Loliondo, Tanzania. In this role, I have had the privilege of working with many children from the Maasai community, who endure challenging conditions.

My unwavering commitment to making a positive impact, I'm eager to embark on a new chapter. My dream is to open an orphananage in the heart of Tanzania, Mwanza city, providing children with support, care, and education, helping them to have brighter and more promising future!
